Tim’s Personal Approach to Client Care

“For me, every case has a personal connection,” explained Tim. “Genuine empathy matters, especially in handling personal injury claims. People going through difficult situations need to be cared about and cared for as individuals with specific needs. As an attorney, I’m responsible for conveying those needs to insurance adjusters, or opposing attorneys in an effective way, and if necessary, to eventually convince the jury that those needs should be addressed. As an attorney, if you cannot relate to your client, there’s no way you’re going to be able to relate their needs to the jury. So along with education and experience, I’d say empathy is the third element that every attorney must have to be effective. I believe you have to be personable to be a successful personal injury attorney and that starts with focusing on the people I represent rather than thinking of each as just another case.”

“I’m obviously biased about Tim, because he is my son,” said Attorney Tim J. O’Brien, “but that also gives me a level of insight far beyond what I would have with any other candidate seeking to become part of the firm. Tim is a high-character, strong-willed and detail-oriented person. Those traits suit him well in his career, and are especially valuable to his clients.”
