Jeremy’s Personal Approach to Client Care

Jeremy is licensed to practice in Nebraska, the U.S. District Court of Nebraska, Iowa, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. He is an active member in the Omaha Bar Association and Nebraska State Bar Association. He also currently serves in a leadership role within the Young Lawyers Division of the Omaha Bar Association.

“Helping people obtain fair compensation for their injuries is very satisfying” explained Jeremy. “My first job as an attorney involved insurance defense work at a medium-sized firm in Omaha. I learned a tremendous amount and gained knowledge on how insurance companies operate and value cases; however, my passion is working for people, not corporations whose main focus is to make a profit.”

“At its core, this firm has always had a family feel to it and Jeremy is an extension of our family,” said Managing Attorney Melany O’Brien, “I’ve known him for a while, worked with him as my associate and seen first hand what a hard-working, detail-oriented person Jeremy is with each case he litigates. That work ethic isn’t something you learn after being hired, you have to wake up with it every morning – and if you have it, you can learn everything else you’ll ever need to know by surrounding yourself with experienced mentors and colleagues. I am already delighted with Jeremy’s work, and believe his career as part of the firm is one that will do a tremendous amount of good for all of our clients.”

Jeremy handles plaintiff cases in Automobile Accidents, Dog Bites, Boating Accidents, Premise Liability and other Personal Injury cases. “Although my focus is on personal injury law, to me, each case is unique due to different facts and the personal connection with each client,” explained Jeremy. “So, although I do similar types of work each day, every client’s situation is distinctive, and that makes it beneficial to take a much more personable approach where the names and identities of your clients matter much more than the numbers and statistics. Working for someone, with the goal of making people whole and helping them to move forward with their lives, is so much more gratifying than working for a corporation who is primarily interested only in scoring the financial outcome. The people are what matter most to me in any case I handle.”
